Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Thighs
There is something about preparing wings that seriously grosses me out – but these flavorful crispy chicken thighs are the next best thing for football Sunday!
Ingredients
- 5-6 chicken thighs organic, skinless, boneless
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup primal kitchen cashew buffalo sauce
Instructions
- Take the chicken thighs and using a paper towel, dab off all excess moisture.
- Line your air fryer tray, and lay them flat down. Season with salt + pepper
- Cook at 350 degrees on one side for 10 minutes. I noticed with mine it left a ton of fat and moisture in the pan. Carefully remove the tray and drain away the moisture.
- Flip the chicken thighs over, season again, and coat with the cashew buffalo sauce. Cook for another 15 minutes.
- Bring them out, give them one last drizzle of buffalo sauce and finish for another 2 minutes in the air fryer.
- Plate them with veggies and protein ranch, and curl up to your favorite game.
Notes
Everyone’s air fryers are different – mine takes a little longer than, say, the ninja.
Additionally, chicken thighs range in size – so always use your best judgment when cooking them. Cut into one if need be — or use a cooking thermometer!
