COMPARISON: FRUIT SNACKS

I make it my biz to source cleaner & healthier options for my friends – and their kids!  I don’t have kids, so I have far more research time.

Scroll below to see the very glaring differences in these three options. And don’t be fooled by the word ORGANIC; just because it’s organic doesn’t mean there aren’t any other potentially unhealthy ingredients.

I also understand affordability and that it’s far more cost-effective to buy one brand over the other. But I will say it is PROVEN that chemicals and dyes DO cause ADHD and hyperactivity in children. So short term, the few other dollars might not be as economical, but long term, you’ll probably have a healthier, thriving child with fewer doctor visits.

It’s important to read labels and not marketing buzzwords to make you think you’re purchasing something good for you.

Gone are the days when fruit snacks or “candy” was a treat — it’s become a daily status quo for a snack. And it shouldn’t be. These should be a treat. Fresh fruit should be the status quo.
