Tzatziki
The condiment queen has perfected her TZATZIKI ? I’m not Greek, but I wish I were because A. I think I was a Greek god in a past life, and B. I could live off of greek food. Tzatziki is a staple in my fridge and is a healthy condiment to ALL proteins – not to mention it is an excellent addition to a summer spread for a fantastic, fresh element!
Ingredients
- 1 5.3oz container of Siggi's plain yogurt
- 1 English cucumber
- zest of 1 lemon
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1 clove garlic
Instructions
- Grate the cucumber with the peel on. Once it’s grated, put it all in cheesecloth, a nut milking bag, or a kitchen rag and squeeze out all the liquid! This step is key to thick delicious tzatziki.
- Then add all the ingredients to the bowl.
- Give it a good stir—taste for salt and pepper. And store in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks, depending on your yogurt date.
- Great for fresh, cool summer meals!
