PATTIES
- Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Combine well and form into four burger patties (that will make four 4 oz burgers, but you could also make smaller ones).
- In a pan, coat with non-stick spray and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side. They should be cooked through the middle! (use a meat thermometer if you are new at this).
- Set aside on a cooling rack to rest while you make the slaw.
PURPLE CABBAGE SLAW
- Combine well and taste to see if you need more salt or pepper. Add more sriracha if you want more of a kick!
- Then assemble the burgers: I add pickles, but pickled jalapenos would be amazing (or any pickled veggie, for that matter). Add some greens, some more hot sauce, cut it in half and serve with some extra slaw ?
Notes
Bun is optional! I prefer to lettuce wrap these and make smaller burgers!
